​What should I know before my lash appointment?

Please arrive with clean lashes—no makeup, oils, or mascara. This allows for the best possible retention and application.

Plan to relax during your appointment, as your eyes will remain closed throughout the service. Avoid caffeine right before, as it can make it harder to stay still.

During your visit, we will also go over proper aftercare, fill timing, and what to expect so you feel confident maintaining your lashes.

 

What is a lash fill?
A lash fill is a maintenance appointment where we replace extensions that have shed with your natural lashes to keep your set looking full and fresh.

How do I know if I need a 2–3 week fill or a 3–4 week fill?
We base your fill timing on how many days it has been since your last appointment. Once you reach the third day into a new week, your appointment is considered part of that next week.

For example, if you’re past the first couple of days into week 3, your appointment will be treated as a 3–4 week fill. This ensures proper timing, retention assessment, and pricing.

Why does timing matter for lash fills?
Your natural lashes shed daily, and extensions fall out with them. The longer you wait between appointments, the fewer extensions remain, which requires more time and product to restore your set.

What happens if I don’t have enough lashes left for a fill?
If you arrive with less than 40% of your lash extensions remaining, your appointment will be considered a full set rather than a fill. This is because there are not enough extensions left to properly maintain and blend the lashes.

How can I avoid needing a full set again?
We recommend booking your fills in advance based on your retention—typically every 2–3 weeks. Proper aftercare, like cleansing your lashes daily and avoiding oils or picking, will also help maintain your extensions.

Will I be informed about this ahead of time?
Yes. During your full set appointment, we will go over proper timing, retention expectations, and when to book your fills so you can plan accordingly and avoid any surprises.
